Why isn't it fall yet?!

This week, we discover I'm an impatient fashion nerd with a messy attic full of clothes. I slander American Vogue and teach you how to look like your wearing The Row without missing a mortgage payment

Impatience.

I’ve been feeling like wearing fall clothes for at least 3 weeks now. It happens at the same time every year. Maybe it’s because running a fashion business is somewhat beholden to the awareness of the changing seasons and the comings and goings of the weather.

Retailers LOVE to talk about the weather. How does it affect the mood of our clientele? Are people out? Are they at home? Are they swimming in a river and drinking rosé in the sun rather than parusing our wares? We LOVE a bit of guess-timation on the location and proclivities of the people who are not currently at the shop. All that being said, as soon as the winds begin to cool and folks sense the change of seasons, the mind and the body begin to ponder my absolute raison d’etre: to be cozy. Fall is on the sunburnt horizon.
